Prior to JBLRE, Jay was Owner/President of a 10-office, residential and commercial RE/MAX real estate brokerage. Jay built his company to over 500 Agents, making it #1 in its marketplace. His RE/MAX Commercial generated over a billion dollars in annual apartment sales, the highest number in RE/MAX history. Prior to launching Re/Max, Jay was the #1 Real Estate Agent in his marketplace.
In addition to his Re/Max group, Jay’s affiliated companies included Sherwood Escrow, Mulholland Mortgage and the visionary Jade Pacific Investments. Through Jade, hundreds of multi-family units and single-family homes were successfully acquired, rehabbed and repositioned for partners and investors - a first of its kind for a major real estate company and the inspiration for what would become Jay Belson Luxury Real Estate.

Luxury brands Rolls Royce Motor Cars, Bentley Motors, Lamborghini, Bugatti, and Aston Martin have all flourished under Mitch's focused leadership. Luxury auto developments in Chicago, Miami, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles established by Mitch, continue to break sales records.
Passionate about real estate and himself an active investor, Mitch was approached and presented with a vision to join Jay Belson Luxury Real Estate as a lead financier, partner and top money manager. Clients and investors alike, appreciate Mitch's loyalty, powerful negotiating skills, attention to the bottom line and vision for a new kind of real estate development - designed for the new millennium and the way they live. Mitch holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Oklahoma.
An exceptional Realtor with tremendous internet savvy, Seth's role at Jay Belson Luxury Real Estate is to carefully track market conditions while seeking exceptional returns for Clients. With an active role in Client Service and an eye for real estate opportunities, Seth has a keen understanding of the bottom line and brings his invaluable, straight-forward approach and insight to every deal.
Prior to joining Jay, Seth played a leadership role for ten years at RE/MAX and has been involved in all aspects of finance, development and marketing of resort investment properties in California, Nevada, Arizona, Texas, New Mexico, Florida and Mexico. Seth is well-versed in a wide variety of real estate investment vehicles and brings his keen insights and problem solving skills to every transaction.
Justine ReneeProject Manager
An invaluable member of Jay's team from its inception, Justine brings extensive real estate experience as she oversees the accounting, coordination and the project management for our line-up of development and brokerage projects. Prior to joining Jay, Justine played a pivotal role as the Portfolio Manager and Listing Agent for Treo Capital Group in the rapid rehab and disposition of hundreds of distressed assets. Also experienced as an REO Agent, Justine has a keen understanding of the Auction Process, Short-Sales, and has played a key role in handling the extensive and successful relationship Jay's team has enjoyed with Institutional Investors. Justine holds a B.S. from the University of Maryland.
As Marketing Director, Tyler oversees social media, public relations, print marketing campaigns, property launches, private events, and media coverage for the company. Tyler and Jay have worked together for 15 years - they are also happily married with three children. With a background in the entertainment industry, Tyler became marketing director for Jay's Re/Max operation in 1999 and together, through a powerful campaign, they grew from one office to ten offices with 500 agents. Part of the Re/Max group at that time, Jay and Tyler decided to break ranks and create the first "Estate Division" for RE/MAX and re-brand the product to great success becoming the #1 company in the marketplace for 8 consecutive years. Later named the Vice-President of the Re/Max operation, Tyler also enjoys brokering deals for valued Clients. Tyler holds a B.A. from USC and an M.F.A. from UCLA.
Tegan, the newest member of the team, came to JBLRE from her role in marketing, communications and recruiting with The Honors College at Cal State LA. Organized, efficient, with an eye for detail, she is also a licensed Realtor. Tegan brings her administrative experience to our team as she assists in transactions and office management. Tegan holds a B.A. in Communications from California State University, Los Angeles.
